PROLOGUE
On seeing the group of the high-rise building lengthening perpendicularly for the sky, I think about the building block play that I liked in childhood.
I pile up the lump of many cubes highly and see it by overlook.
Then I was able to indulge in the feeling such as the bird overlooking the building from the high sky.
1000 CUBES
The series that I took the molding that a wooden original cube brought about by various techniques experimentally and took down.
Because the shape of the pixel of the image projected by a computer display is a square, I catch one cube as one photograph cell and try that I switch the world of the pixel in the digital photo to analog.
Prologue
空に向けて垂直に伸びる高層ビルの群像を見て、子供の頃に好きだった積み木遊びに思いを馳せる。いくつもの立方体の塊を高く積み重ねていき、それを俯瞰で見る。そうすると、高い空からビルを見下ろす鳥のような気分に浸る事が出来た。
1000 CUBES
木製の正立方体が生み出す造形を、さまざまな手法で実験的に撮りおろしたシリーズ。コンピューターディスプレイに映し出される画像のピクセルの形状が正方形である事から、１つの立方体を１つの写真細胞として捉え、デジタルフォトにおけるピクセルの世界をアナログへと転換する事を試みている。
